Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a historic visit to the famous Dagdusheth Halwai Ganesh Temple in Pune, Maharashtra. Coming all the way from Delhi on a special flight, PM Modi headed straight to the Ganesh Temple located on Shivaji Road, Pune. The temple trustees were delighted to welcome the honorable Prime Minister, sharing that he is the first-ever Prime Minister to visit the sacred Dagdusheth Halwai Ganesh Temple and take part in the auspicious pooja ceremonies. Following his temple visit, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to pay tribute to the revered freedom fighter, Lokmanya Tilak, on the solemn occasion of his death anniversary. As a mark of recognition for his outstanding contributions, the Prime Minister will also be receiving the prestigious Lokamanya Tilak National Award.
