In a daring rescue operation, two Indian Air Force (IAF) helicopters took off from Air Force Station Hakimpet near Hyderabad to save six people who were stranded atop an earthmover in a flood-stricken village in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district, Telangana. The critical rescue mission successfully lifted the six individuals from the top of the earthmover in Nainpaka village. In an official statement, the IAF highlighted its commitment to not only defending the territorial skies but also safeguarding the lives of people during challenging weather conditions. The IAF is dedicated to undertaking humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations, even in extremely adverse situations.
