Rajasthan: In the early hours of Friday morning, residents of Jaipur were jolted awake by a series of earthquakes, causing panic and concern across the city. The National Centre for Seismology (NCS) reported three separate quakes, with the first one striking at 4:09 am, measuring a magnitude of 4.4. Following the initial tremor, two more earthquakes were felt in Jaipur. The second quake, registering a magnitude of 3.1, hit at 4:22 am, and the third, measuring 3.4, occurred at 4:25 am. According to NCS data, the epicenter of the first earthquake was at a shallow depth of 10 kilometers. The subsequent tremors added to the anxiety of residents who felt the ground shake. The seismic activity prompted many people to rush out of their homes in fear, seeking safety in open spaces. There have been no immediate reports of casualties or significant damage.
