Prominent Congress leader and Bhuvanagiri MP, Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, pledged his party's commitment to address the issue of frequent power outages if elected to power. Komati Reddy criticized the current Power Minister, Jagadish Reddy, for the prevailing power supply disruptions in his own district, where, as he alleges, electricity is not available for up to 10 hours a day. During his address, the Congress leader declared the party's resolve to provide 24-hour free electricity to farmers, should they secure a majority in the upcoming elections. Komati Reddy also spoke about the possibility of a Chief Ministerial candidate from the Congress if they secure more than 60 seats in the elections. However, he dismissed any speculation about PCC President Revanth Reddy being the sole representative of the Congress party. He said, "To equate Congress with Revanth Reddy is laughable. It's a misconception that needs to be corrected. And the notion of projecting anyone as a Chief Ministerial candidate is premature
