BJP's national president, J P Nadda, has announced on Friday that former Union Minister and BJP MP Prakash Javadekar will helm the party's election campaign for the impending state elections in Telangana, slated for the end of this year. Javadekar will work in tandem with Sunil Bansal, who has been assigned as the co-incharge of the election campaign. Bansal, currently serving as the party's national general secretary, is a known confidant of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He has previously played a pivotal role in the BJP's successful campaigns in Uttar Pradesh during 2014, 2017, and 2019. In addition to Telangana, the BJP has also divulged the names of the officials in charge of managing the party's election campaigns in other states such as Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh, all of which are nearing their respective elections.
