President of India, Draupadi Murmu, arrived in the city on Tuesday to participate in the 125th Birth Anniversary celebration of freedom fighter Alluri Sitaramaraju. The event, scheduled for this afternoon at Gachibowli, is expected to be a significant tribute to the renowned icon. Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Ministers, and other dignitaries warmly welcomed the President upon her arrival at Hakimpet Airforce Station via a special flight. Notably, before President Murmu's arrival, Governor Soundararajan and Chief Minister KCR were spotted sharing the dais, engaging in a conversation that caught the attention of the public and political critics alike. In view of the President's visit, the police have issued a traffic advisory, urging people to consider alternative routes.
