The Philippines Department of Tourism is investigating a promotional video that used images from other countries instead of showcasing the Philippines' landscape. The video, part of the "Love the Philippines" campaign, was quickly removed from Facebook after a blogger pointed out the mistake. The advertising agency responsible for the video, DDB, apologized for the error and admitted they should have followed proper screening and approval processes. The Department of Tourism is conducting a thorough investigation into the matter. The video included stock footage from Thailand, Indonesia, Dubai, Brazil, and the United Arab Emirates. The ministry had recently introduced the slogan "Love The Philippines" as part of their campaign.
