In a major boost to railway connectivity in Andhra Pradesh, another Vande Bharat train is set to be operational from the 7th of this month. This train will ply between Vijayawada and Chennai, further streamlining travel between these two prominent cities. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate this service, along with four other Vande Bharat trains, in a country-wide virtual ceremony. Railway officials from the Vijayawada division have been duly informed about the new service and are already engaged in final preparations for the inauguration. The train is expected to be fully operational from the 8th of July, post-inauguration. The officials are yet to announce the details of the train's halts between Vijayawada and Chennai, along with the schedule of arrivals and the fare structure. These details are likely to be announced within the next couple of days.
