In a weather-related incident in Panchkula, a woman's vehicle was swept away by a sudden flash flood in the Ghaggar River. The incident was sparked by heavy rains that caused water levels to rise dramatically. The woman had traveled to the region to pay respects at Kharak Mangoli. In an unfortunate turn of events, the parked vehicle on the riverbank was caught off guard by the swiftly increasing flow of water, resulting in it being carried away by the flood. Quick-thinking locals swiftly responded to the incident, managing to rescue the woman from her trapped vehicle amidst the surging waters. Concurrently, efforts to retrieve the vehicle using a crane are currently underway. Local law enforcement swiftly arrived on the scene to aid in rescue operations and control the situation. Following her traumatic experience, the woman was promptly transported to the Sector 6 hospital in Panchkula for medical evaluation.
