The high court listened to the plea filed by businessman Lingamaneni Ramesh regarding the confiscation of his house in Undavalli Karakattu on Tuesday. Ramesh's petition alleged that the ACB court failed to consider their arguments in relation to the house confiscation. Acting on the petition, the high court has instructed the CID (Criminal Investigation Department) to present a counter statement. The case has been scheduled for further hearing on May 28. Earlier, the Andhra Pradesh CID had filed a petition seeking permission to seize Lingamaneni Ramesh's residence in Undavalli Karakattu, which was taken up for consideration at the ACB court in Vijayawada. During the proceedings, the investigating officer presented comprehensive evidence and documents to the Additional Special Court. After hearing arguments from both sides, the court reserved its verdict, announcing that the order will be pronounced on the 28th of this month. In light of these developments, Lingamaneni Ramesh approached the High Court seeking redress.
