New Delhi: In preparation for the upcoming inauguration of the new Parliament building on May 28, the Ministry of Finance has issued a notification stating that a special Rs 75 coin will be minted to commemorate this momentous occasion. The coin will proudly feature the inscription "Parliament Complex" along with the image of the new Parliament building. As per the official statement, the circular coin will have a diameter of 44 millimeters and will bear 200 serrations along its edges. It will be composed of a quaternary alloy, carefully crafted with 50 percent silver, 40 percent copper, 5 percent nickel, and 5 percent zinc, ensuring its durability and aesthetic appeal. To further commemorate the significance of this event, the year "2023" will be inscribed in international numerals below the image of the Parliament Complex, adding a timeless element to this unique coin.
