Uttar Pradesh: The police in Prayagraj imposed a substantial fine of Rs 15,500 on a bride caught filming an Instagram reel while seated on the bonnet of a moving SUV. The striking sight of the bride, adorned in a vibrant red bridal lehenga that seamlessly combined traditional and modern elements, drew the attention of the authorities. Demonstrating their strict adherence to traffic regulations, the UP Police promptly took action against the bride for her violation. The woman, identified as Varnika from Allahapur, first recorded a 13-second reel while riding a two-wheeler in her bridal attire, neglecting to wear a helmet. Subsequently, she proceeded to sit on the bonnet of an SUV, still donning her bridal outfit, near Pathar Girjaghar on May 16. As her driver operated the vehicle for a certain distance, the bride captured the footage. The police identified the clear breach of traffic rules and issued a challan amounting to Rs 15,500 to the owner of the SUV.
