Nandyala: In a series of chain-snatching incidents that have been on the rise in Andhra Pradesh recently, a courageous woman in Nandyala fought back against a chain snatcher for an astonishing 20 minutes, ultimately apprehending him and handing him over to the police. The incident unfolded in Sai Nagar, Atmakur. According to sources, Kavitha, along with three other women, had just returned home after a morning walk when they noticed a suspicious individual trailing them. In an attempt to escape, the women scattered, but one of them was targeted by the assailant. Undeterred, she valiantly defended herself, engaging in a physical altercation to protect her valuable gold chain. Despite sustaining injuries near her eye and hand, she managed to repel the attacker. The police have promptly registered a case and praised the courageous woman for her remarkable bravery.
