In a remarkable act of philanthropy, billionaire Gautam Adani has intervened to provide critical medical transport for Anurag Maloo, a mountaineer who endured a perilous fall into a deep crevasse on Nepal's formidable Mount Annapurna. Adani coordinated an air ambulance to expedite Maloo's transfer from Kathmandu to New Delhi's prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Anurag Maloo, a native of Kishangarh in Rajasthan, had been missing since April 17. He suffered a fall from an altitude of 5,800 meters during his descent from Camp III on Mount Annapurna, the world's 10th highest mountain, notorious for its dangerous conditions. The injured mountaineer's brother, Aashish Maloo, took to Twitter today to express his profound gratitude towards Gautam Adani for his quick and decisive action. Aashish's heartfelt tweet read, "Words cannot capture the depth of our gratitude for the timely airlifting! Sincere thanks to @gautam_adani and @AdaniFoundation for their invaluable support in safely repatriating @AnuragMaloo."
