Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), reached a significant milestone of 1200 kilometers during his Yuvagalam padayatra, arriving in Allur, a part of the Nandikotkur constituency in Nandyal district. This event coincided with the planned initiation of the Midduru lift irrigation project. During his visit, Lokesh unveiled the project's commemorative plaque, promising the completion of the endeavor once his party assumes power. According to Lokesh, the scheme will irrigate around 22,000 acres of land, providing a significant boost to the area's agricultural sector.
