Former Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chief, Chandrababu Naidu, visited the farmers who suffered losses due to untimely rains at Vegayammapeta in Konaseema district on Friday. Chandrababu questioned the state government's response to the issue, asking whether Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy or his ministers have visited the affected farmers to understand their concerns. Chandrababu Naidu demanded compensation for the damaged crops and issued an ultimatum to the Chief Minister, stating that if compensation is not provided by the evening, people will think that Jagan has cheated the farmers. The TDP Chief inspected the affected fields, interacted with the farmers, and observed the damaged grains.
