The Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development, KTR, visited Siddipet district today for the inauguration of various development works. He also initiated several development projects in the town of Husnabad. KTR arrived in Husnabad via a helicopter from Hyderabad and headed straight to the mini-stadium. At the event, the Minister launched several development projects that are worth a total of Rs 27.51 crore. These include the government degree college, ST women's hostel, TTC centre, basti hospital and municipal shopping complex. In addition, KTR laid the foundation stone for the beautification works of Husnabad Yellamma tank, which is expected to cost Rs 3.50 crore. The Minister also inaugurated the two-bedroom houses constructed in the town and the indoor stadium, which was built at a cost of Rs 1 crore. The occasion was marked by a game of shuttle, played in the newly inaugurated indoor stadium.
