Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced the launch of a new Vande Bharat Express train that will run between Bengaluru and Secunderabad. During his visit to Telangana last week, he conveyed the news to BJP leaders in the state. The exact launch date is yet to be confirmed. Once operational, this will be the third Vande Bharat Express for Telangana. A formal announcement regarding the launch may be made soon. According to an announcement by a South Central Railway official in January, this semi-high-speed express train will cover a distance of nearly 570 kilometers between Bengaluru and Kacheguda in Hyderabad. The train is expected to start operating from May 21st, as per reports. The route map has also reportedly been prepared. The BJP functionaries in Karnataka have already begun mentioning this Vande Bharat express in their poll campaigns, as per some reports. This news follows the recent inauguration of another Vande Bharat train between Secunderabad and Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.
