Hyderabad: Police arrested a popular pub guitarist on charges of attempting to r*pe a woman. According to the sources, the accused, identified as Lalit Sehgal (30), who works at a pub in the Jubilee Hills area, was previously acquainted with the victim. However, due to unresolved conflicts, they had drifted apart. According to the police, Lalit Sehgal allegedly trespassed into the woman's house without her consent and made s*xual advances towards her. Despite her resistance, he persisted until she managed to escape and report the incident to the police. Based on the complaint filed by the victim, the Jubilee Hills police apprehended Lalit Sehgal and produced him before the court, where he was remanded to judicial custody.
