The extent to which some individuals go to promote their cause is nothing short of extraordinary. A recent report by a media channel revealed that Amritpal Singh, the chief of Waris Punjab De, a group advocating for Khalistan, underwent extensive eye surgery in Georgia to look like the infamous Khalistani militant Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale. According to reports, Singh's aides, who are currently in jail in Assam's Dibrugarh, disclosed this information to intelligence sources. According to them, the fugitive leader was in Georgia for two years, for the surgery. Amritpal Singh is currently on the run after the Punjab Police launched a crackdown against him and his associates. The police have already made 114 arrests in the case, and there is a strong suspicion of foreign funding and an ISI angle. Recently, Singh was spotted strolling in East Delhi without wearing a turban, as seen in CCTV footage.
