Pedestrians in Visakhapatnam are living in fear due to the activities of chain snatchers. According to reports, in the bustling Akkayapalem district of the city, a woman was walking down the street when a pair of chain snatchers rode up on a motorbike and made off with her golden ornaments. In the process, the woman fell to the ground and sustained injuries, necessitating a trip to the hospital. Shortly thereafter, in another part of the city, Gnanapuram, another woman was targeted in a similar chain-snatching incident. Following complaints from the victims, the police immediately sprang into action, combing through CCTV footage in an attempt to identify the perpetrators.
