Kurnool: During the demolition of an old house in the village of Karivemula in the Devanakonda Mandal of Kurnool district in Rayalaseema, a surprising discovery was made. A local resident named Narsimhulu, who was excavating the site for the construction of a new house, stumbled upon an old locker. Sources said that the walls of the ancient building were being demolished using JCBs when a large iron locker emerged. The box had the word "Madras" inscribed on it in English and featured an image of the Hindu Goddess Lakshmi. Despite attempts by villagers to open the box, it remained shut due to its heavy-duty construction, which is said to be stronger than regular bank lockers. The box is equipped with two locks, adding to the mystery surrounding its contents. Officials from the revenue department have been informed of the discovery, and they will soon arrive to investigate and open the locker.
