On Wednesday, an Air India Express flight bound for Kuwait from Vijayawada departed hours before its scheduled time, leaving over 15 passengers behind. The flight was supposed to depart at 1:10 pm but took off at 9 am from Gannavaram airport in Andhra Pradesh, India. The passengers who were unable to board the flight claimed that they were not informed about the schedule change. Airport Director Lakshmikanth Reddy explained that the passengers who had booked their tickets through agents were not informed about the rescheduling. As a result, they were left waiting for the next flight to Kuwait, which would not be until the following week. Air India staff reportedly informed the passengers of the change in departure time. However, those who missed the flight disputed this claim, saying that they did not receive any information about the schedule change.
