Caught on Camera: US Swimmers in Hot Water for Harassing Hawaiian Dolphins

On Tuesday, the Hawaiian Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement made allegations against 33 swimmers for engaging in the "pursuit, encirclement, and disturbance" of a pod of dolphins at Hōnaunau Bay last Sunday.

According to a press release issued by Hawaiian officials, each swimmer is facing a charge of harassment for their involvement. The accused individuals remain anonymous.

The Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement released video and drone footage, which displayed evidence of the misconduct. After exiting the water, the swimmers were met by authorities on the shore.
