On Friday, Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy had a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, where he presented a memorandum requesting resolution for pending issues following the bifurcation of the state. In the memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister, Jagan highlighted that numerous problems still remained unresolved even after nine years since the state's division. One of the significant issues he raised was the outstanding payment of Rs. 36,625 crore for the year 2014-15 under resource gap funding. Additionally, he also requested the increase of loan limits and repayment of Rs. 2600.74 crore spent on the Polavaram project. Apart from this, the Chief Minister also urged the immediate approval of the revised estimates of Rs. 55,548 crore recommended by the technical advisory committee on the Polavaram project. Furthermore, he also sought approval for the establishment of 12 new medical colleges in the state.
