KTR slams Centre over ED notices to MLC Kavitha
Hyderabad: Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Ram Rao (KTR) has strongly condemned the recent ED notices summoned to MLC Kavitha. In a press conference, Minister KTR accused the ED and IT agencies of being puppets in the hands of the Centre. He went on to allege that these were not ED summons to Kavitha, but instead Modi's summons. The Minister also claimed that the Centre was planning to conduct raids on 11 to 12 BRS party leaders.
Furthermore, KTR criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not taking action on the LIC issue and for sanctioning six airports without following proper rules. He accused Modi of destroying the nation and questioned why no action after heroin worth Rs 3000 crore was caught in his port.
The Minister also claimed that the ED raids were solely to attack opposition parties. He further added that the Centre was attempting to portray the entire nation as corrupt, while claiming that they were the only honest people.
