The suicide attempt of a PG Medico student in Warangal has caused shockwaves in the two Telugu states. The perpetrator, a senior doctor who had been harassing the junior medico for several days, has been arrested by the police. The doctor's WhatsApp conversation with the victim has been exposed, revealing the extent of his harassment. The police were able to track the mobile data to gather evidence against the accused. It has also come to light that the victim had confided in her father about the harassment and had even reported it to the Principal. The Principal had counselled the accused, but he continued to harass the medico student, which ultimately led to her suicide attempt. She injected herself with a harmful substance in desperation.
