In a significant political development, BJP senior leader Kanna Lakshmi Narayana has joined TDP in the presence of party chief Chandrababu Naidu. Speaking at the occasion, Kanna expressed his reasons for joining TDP, citing the need to overthrow the Jagan government. The senior leader accused the YSRCP of looting state resources and making people's lives unbearable with excessive taxes and other economic measures. He also criticized YS Jagan's focus on developing his own business instead of prioritizing the welfare of the people. Kanna also faulted CM Jagan over his concept of three capitals, calling it a flawed decentralization process. He called upon the people of the state to support TDP in their efforts to save the state and secure the future generation's interests.
