Hyderabad: An Air India flight (AI106) traveling from Newark, US to Delhi, India with approximately 300 passengers onboard faced a technical issue and was forced to make an emergency landing in Stockholm, Sweden. Thankfully, all passengers are safe. Upon the plane's emergency landing, several fire engines were present at the airport. According to a senior official from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the pilot discovered an oil leak in one of the engines during the flight. As a result, the engine was turned off to prevent further damage, and the aircraft made a safe landing in Stockholm. A ground inspection of the plane revealed oil dripping from engine two's drain mast. The inspection is still ongoing, according to the official.
