Nara Lokesh, the national general secretary of the TDP, recently conducted a meeting with minority leaders in the Srikalahasti constituency during the 23rd day of the Yuva Galam padayatra. During the meeting, Lokesh claimed that Muslims were treated unfairly under the YSRCP administration, and cited the elimination of minority corporations as an example. He also accused the current government of failing to create "Islamic banks," which it had pledged to do. Lokesh highlighted the contributions of the late Chief Minister N T Rama Rao, who he claimed was the first CM in the country to form a Minority Corporation. He criticised the current administration for not following in Rama Rao's footsteps and treating minorities unfairly.
