Singer Mangli lands in controversy after her recent Mahashivratri song

Popular Telugu folk singer Mangli has found herself embroiled in controversy over her latest release, "Bham Bham Bhole," which was released on Mahashivaratri and features footage from the Srikalahasthi temple. While the temple strictly forbids video recording, Mangli and her team filmed the music video at the Kalabhairava Swamy Temple, Ammavari Sannidhi, and Spatika Lingam on the Srikalahasthi temple grounds.

Even though the filming is banned in the Srikalahasti temple for many years, Mangli and her team shot the video in several locations, including the Rayala Mandapam, Rahu Ketu Mandapam, and Oonjal Seva Mandapam.

As a result, the people of Srikalahasti and some scholars have condemned the filming, as Mangli and her team were able to film almost up to the inner sanctum of the temple. They are now questioning who granted permission for the shoot, and while the temple staff claims permission was granted, they have not disclosed who authorized it.
