Former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar has alleged that the recent obstruction of former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in Anaparthi has had a negative impact on the ruling YSRCP government. In a press conference on Saturday, the former Congress MP stated that the attitude of those in power is leading to an unhealthy atmosphere and that such incidents should not happen again. Undavalli Arun Kumar also claimed that the people of the state had supported YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the last assembly election due to a sympathy factor, as he was jailed. The former MP alleged that it was a big mistake of the Congress to push YS Jagan to face jail terms, which led to public support for him on a sympathy note. He further stated that while there may not be any murders in politics, there are cases of suicides. The remarks were made in reference to the recent spate of political violence in the state.
