TDP National General Secretary Nara Lokesh on Wednesday embarked on a Yuva Galam padayatra to address the problems faced by the people of Satyavedu constituency. During the padayatra, Lokesh boarded an RTC bus near Pichatur to interact with the passengers and learn about their grievances. Nara Lokesh spoke with the passengers about RTC charges during the TDP government's reign, and asked them to compare them with the current government's fares. The passengers explained that the fares have been hiked drastically, causing significant financial strain on poor and middle-class individuals. Concerned about the difficulties being faced by RTC staff following the government merger, Lokesh also enquired with the conductor about the issues they were experiencing. Expressing disappointment with the three-fold increase in RTC fares under the current government, Lokesh criticized the government for failing to prioritize the needs of the poor and middle-class individuals.
