Delhi Liquor scam: MP's son Raghav Magunta sent to 10-day ED custody
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is currently conducting an investigation into the Delhi liquor scam case, and as a result, the son of YSRCP MP Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy, Raghava Reddy, has been arrested by the ED. Raghava is suspected of playing a key role in the case and collecting approximately Rs 100 crore through the South Group. He is also accused of paying bribes as part of the scam.
In an effort to gather more information on the case, the ED has requested that the special court remand Raghava Reddy in custody for 10 days. This request was granted, and Raghava Reddy has been placed in 10-day custody, as ordered by the Rouse Avenue court in Delhi.
In addition to Raghava Reddy's arrest, Buchi Babu was arrested earlier this month on the 8th and ended his custody today. He was remanded in custody for 14 days, which highlights the seriousness of the case and the authorities' determination to uncover the full extent of the Delhi liquor scam.
