Chittoor: A case has been filed against Telugu Desam Party (TDP) General Secretary Nara Lokesh and five others in connection with the Bangurapalayam incident. As per the sources, along with Lokesh, Amarnath Reddy, Deepak Reddy, and Pulivarthi Nani have also been named in the case. Attempt to murder charges have been filed against TDP leaders NP Jayaprakash and Jagadish. TDP is taking the Bangarupalyam incident seriously and alleging that some police officials are working in collusion with the ruling party to create difficulties for TDP. On Friday, police had seized three vehicles at a TDP public meeting in Bangurapalayam. Several TDP leaders have been charged with obstructing police duties and attempting murder.
