Kidnap case filed against YSRCP rebel MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy

Nellore: A kidnapping case has been filed against Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, who recently defied the leadership of the YSRCP. The Vedayapalem police have registered the case regarding the alleged kidnapping of 22nd Division Corporator Vijayabhaskar Reddy and his followers.

According to the complaint, the MLA attempted to convince Vijayabhaskar Reddy to leave YSRCP and join him. When the corporator refused, it is claimed that one of MLA's followers, Midde Muralikrishna Yadav, along with the driver Ankayya, threatened him.

Despite the alleged attempt to kidnap him, the corporator managed to escape and file a police complaint at the Vedayapalem station. A kidnapping case has been registered against MLA Kotamreddy in response.
