Akhilesh Yadav's convoy meets accident; SP chief unhurt while few others are injured
A collision involving multiple vehicles in Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav's convoy caused damage to at least six cars near Farhat Nagar Railway Crossing. The injured were rushed to the hospital while the former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav continued on to his destination in Baithapur village of Harpalpur in Hardoi. Videos of the accident, showing cars hitting each other from behind, have surfaced on social media, that have gone viral.
According to the reports, one of the drivers applied the brakes while navigating a curve, causing a pile-up of vehicles.
