PM Modi Praises Nandyala Farmer In 'Mann Ki Baat'
Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about the growing popularity of millets and entrepreneurs taking advantage of it in his monthly Mann Ki Baat program. He specifically mentioned KV Rama Subba Reddy from Nandyal district in Andhra Pradesh, who quit his well-paying job to start a millet processing unit in his village, inspired by the taste of millets made by his mother.
PM Narendra Modi praised Subba Reddy for not only producing millets in his land but also educating people available to him about its benefits and making it easily available to them.
