In a shocking revelation, Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy has accused intelligence officials of spying on him and tapping his phone. He stated that he has been aware of the surveillance for some time and has been using different phones to have secret conversations. Kotamreddy alleges that the government's surveillance system, Pegasus, is being used to monitor him, despite being a member of the ruling party. The MLA also claims that some officers have been designated to keep tabs on him and that they could even deploy an IPS officer to monitor him. His comments have sparked a heated debate in Andhra Pradesh politics, with many questioning the government's surveillance practices and if it is being used to target political opponents. Recently, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called party MLA and spoke to him but it looks like that did not work as well.
