Minister Botsa Satyanarayana comments about AP Capital issue

The Andhra Pradesh government is moving forward with its plans to shift the capital to Visakhapatnam. Minister Botsa Satyanarayana announced that the government hopes to begin administration from the city soon, with a goal of having the executive capital fully operational by Ugadi, the Telugu people new year festival.

According to the Minister, the decision to shift the capital was driven by pressure from residents of Uttarandhra, who have long sought a capital in the region. The Minister has stated that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been made aware of this sentiment.

Botsa has emphasized that establishing the executive capital in Visakhapatnam and promoting decentralized development is not just a policy of the government, but a desire of the people of the state.
