Teddy Bear arrested: Man's viral train track stunt leads to nuisance charges
A young man dressed in a teddy bear costume was arrested by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) on Sunday for creating a nuisance near train tracks in Gorakhpur. 22-year-old Suraj Kumar, who goes by the social media handle 'Teddy Godfather', was attempting to shoot a social media reel when he was taken into custody.
The incident occurred when Suraj crossed an unmanned level crossing and positioned himself close to the tracks as trains passed by. A video of his actions, including making funny gestures at a passenger train, quickly went viral on social media.
According to RPF personnel, Suraj's actions were a safety hazard and he was charged with creating nuisance. He was apprehended while still wearing the teddy bear costume and taken to a local police station.
