Khammam BRS Meeting: Kejriwal calls for cooperation and learning
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal emphasized the non-political nature of the public meeting held in Khammam, stating that the aim was to learn from each other and not engage in political tactics. He explained that the participants spent the day discussing issues related to education, health, and sanitation, and not politics. He also alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is using Governors across different states to impede progress. He said, “Prime Minister Modi is calling up Governors and asking them to halt work happening in the states. The Governor gets a big bungalow, an air-conditioned car and enjoys life for 5 years. How will the country progress like this?”
Kejriwal praised the Kanti Velugu program in Telangana and promised to replicate it in Delhi. He urged that instead of fighting, all governments should cooperate and learn from each other in order to drive the country's progress forward. He also called on people to vote out the BJP-led NDA government in the upcoming election, as it had failed to fulfill its promises to the people.
