KTR launches Telangana Pavilion at WEF Davos; PepsiCo and Apollo Tyres to put investment in state
The Telangana State Pavilion was officially opened on Monday at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos by Industries Minister KT Rama Rao.
The pavilion showcases the progressive initiatives of the Telangana Government and features the slogan "Telangana - A World of Opportunities."
PepsiCo, an American multinational food corporation, announced during this WEF Summit that it intends to increase its operation in Hyderabad and hire 1,200 people over the next 1.5 years. The business made this announcement while attending the World Economic Forum in Davos. At the Telangana Pavilion, Roberto Azevedo, EVP Corporate Affairs, PepsiCo, met with the state's minister of industries and commerce to go through the company's expansion ambitions.
In collaboration with the Telangana government, Apollo Tyres Ltd. has also announced the opening of a Digital Innovation Center in Hyderabad.
In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Tuesday at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
