Show-cause notices have long since been dumped into dustbin: Komatireddy
On Thursday, a meeting took place between newly appointed AICC in-charge for Telangana, Manikrao Thakare, and Congress MP, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. This meeting was held following the recent show-cause notice that was issued to Venkat Reddy by the party for an alleged act of indiscipline.
After the meeting, Venkat Reddy spoke to the media and stated that the reason for the delay in their meeting was due to the fact that he was busy in his constituency on Wednesday.
However, Venkat Reddy's comments during the media interaction were perceived as defiant. He questioned why MLAs Seethakka, Veeraiah, and Jagga Reddy were not able to meet with Thakare on Wednesday and stated that he did not want to associate with those who have lost elections four or more times.
In response, Thakare, the Bhongir MP, stated that the showcause notifications that had been previously served to him had long since fallen into dustbin.
