Controversy erupts over RRR Globes Award, CM YS Jagan hails award, says Telugu Flag flying high
Controversy has erupted over the recent RRR Globes award, after Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's congratulatory message did not go well. The award, which is one of the most prestigious in the entertainment industry, was given to a Telugu film, much to the delight of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan and Telugu people all across the globe.
In a statement issued to the press, the Chief Minister hailed the award, saying it was a proud moment for the Telugu people and that the Telugu flag was flying high on the world stage.
However, the Chief Minister's congratulatory message did not go down well with prominent singer Adnan Sami, who took to social media to express his displeasure. Sami, who is known for his patriotic songs and his love for India, said that "we are Indians" first and that the "separatist attitude" of the Chief Minister was unhealthy.
