Assam: In a horrifying incident, at least 13 people including forest department staff were injured in a leopard attack in the Jorhat district of Assam on Monday. The incident took place in Rain Forest Research Institute located at Chenijan near Teok in Jorhat. The incident was recorded and now the visuals are going viral on the internet. The injured persons were shifted to the nearby hospital and are in stable condition. Forest officials said that they received a call that a leopard attacked a few persons in the locale. The leopard also attacked the forest staff and the officials are trying to tranquillize the wild cat. In the video, the leopard has seen jumping on a vehicle.
