Tirupati: Panic gripped the staff and students of SV Veterinary University of Tirupati after they sighted a leopard on campus. Recently, a leopard was sighted at the University VC building and killed a pet dog. The incident was recorded on CCTV cameras installed on the premises. Earlier, the security staff also sighted two leopards near the VC bungalow on December 14th and after hearing shouting, the wild cats escaped into bushes. The university officials asked the students not to step out of their rooms alone after seven pm and requested the forest officials to catch the leopards immediately. The students staged protest demanding to take immediate action over the issue.
