The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organised a national demonstration a day after Pakistan's Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto referred to Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the "butcher of Gujarat." BJP supporters throughout the nation flocked to the streets to burn Bhutto effigies after he responded to External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar with a statement. In response to comments made about Prime Minister Narendra Modi by Pakistani minister Bilawal Bhutto, the BJP staged a rally in Hyderabad. On Saturday, the Hyderabad Central District Committee organised a demonstration that went from Basheerbagh Jagjivan Ram statue to Tank Bund under the direction of the party's state president Bandi Sanjay. Bandi Sanjay took a jab at Pakistan for encouraging terrorism while issuing a warning that insults to the Indian Prime Minister and other Indians would not be accepted in any way.
