The newly appointed king of the United Kingdom, King Charles III, paid a visit to the Luton Gurudwara. According to news sources, Charles attended the new Guru Nanak gurudwara's dedication and engaged with volunteers, students, and members of the local community. The gurudwara King Charles established has a Langar, or communal kitchen, just like other gurudwaras. Kids holding the Union Jack and the "Nishan Sahib" Sikh flag welcomed the King. Charles prayed and sat on the floor in the Gurdwara's prayer hall among Sikh followers while wearing a kerchief over his head. He also went to the gurdwara's langar, or communal kitchen.
