A night of light, pyrotechnics, and mysticism heralds the start of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. The day before the FIFA World Cup 2022 kicks off, fireworks fizzled and flared over the Doha waterfront in Qatar as thousands of fans were welcomed and celebrated. The throng gathered around the shoreline was mesmerised by the fireworks display, which included illuminated drones that said "Welcome to Qatar." Videos of the magnificent fireworks show have also gained a lot of popularity on social media. On the other side, police turned away thousands of supporters from a World Cup concert on Saturday night, which highlighted the difficulties Doha will face in controlling crowds during FIFA's smallest-ever event. The 2022 FIFA World Cup opening ceremony is launched in Qatar by actor Morgan Freeman.
